4. Wake up to your favorite song or the radio

A good way to eradicate morning laziness and get in a good mood to start the day is by setting your alarm sound on your cell phone as your favorite peppy song, preferably a dance number. There are also alarm machines and radio sets available in the market that start playing songs from the local station at the time you set. You will feel like getting up and doing a jig instead of flopping back on the bed.

5. Follow a daily sleeping schedule

If you are struggling to open your eyes in the morning, it could be because of an unhealthy and disrupted schedule. Sleep early, so as to clock in at least 8 hours of sleep every night. Also, eat 2 hours before sleep time because going to bed with a full stomach results in a sluggish feeling the morning after.
