6 Tips for Unique Christmas Decorations

4. Christmas wall art

Wall art has become very popular off late because it can be peeled, pasted and removed whenever required. If you don’t want to do away with any of your traditional Christmas decorations but you still want a touch of uniqueness, use Christmas themed wall art for the festive period. Pick wall art in the shape of a Christmas tree, reindeer, Santa clause, Christmas presents or any other traditional Christmas motif.

5. Decorative curtains

Create a customized Christmas decoration by using a mix of traditional Christmas decorations and fresh ideas. Make long beaded strings that you can attach to your curtain rod in replacement of the existing curtains. Gather readymade shiny Christmas balls, red bows, reindeer, miniature Christmas trees, fake plastic Holly, plastic snowflakes and a Star of Bethlehem. Embed them on the beaded strings in an equidistant manner. Alternate one such string with another one that includes fresh decoration ideas in the form of alphabet paper cutouts that spell your family name.

6. Christmas lanterns

Most people use candles to light up their homes during Christmas but not many make use of lanterns. Purchase tin lanterns available in the market. Paint the frames in a color combination of red and white. Put candles, sweets or other decorations inside the lanterns and place them in different corners of your house.
