6 Tips For Coping With Infertility

4. Do not let other’s happiness make you sad

Sometimes when you are unable to get pregnant, going to baby showers or being present at a kid’s birthday can become an extremely difficult task. You may also feel guilty about not being able to be happy for someone else. It is natural to feel this way but you must consciously try to come out of it as soon as possible. You must be able to pray for others’ happiness and be able to share their joys.

5. Share your feelings with your partner

One of the most important things to keep in mind when coping with infertility is to not keep all the emotions bottled up. Talk it out with your partner. Tell him about your fears and negative emotions. This will help you vent your emotions. Also, you and your partner will be able to work as a team to make sure that this does not put an end to all your happiness. Having a support system in a time like this will go a long way in helping you deal with the issue.

6. Consider adoption/surrogacy

You don’t necessarily need to give birth to be a mother. There are women who are related to their kids by blood and still fail to be a good mother. Adoption and surrogacy can be an equally fulfilling and good choices if you truly want to be a mother to a child.
