6 Reasons Why Cats are Better Than Dogs
Just like the eternally debatable war between the sexes exists, there is also another one raging since time immemorial between the feline and canine species. Cats and dogs come with their own sets of pros and cons, and here we list out the reasons why the former have an edge over the latter for being chosen as pets.
1. Lesser maintenance
As compared to dogs, whom the owner has to take for regular walks, buy leashes, name-tags, collars, various shampoos, soaps and even toothpaste, cats come with none of this baggage. They are maintenance free creatures, mind their own business, let you mind your’s, and look after themselves well.
2. Not in your face
Cats practice subtlety. They are not like dogs who will jump on to your face, lunging for you as soon as you come back home. They don’t lick you all over and drool on you. Dogs do this every time, which can get a bit too overwhelming.
3. Less demanding
All you cat owners have to do is keep a bowl of food and one filled with water or milk and you are set. They do not make unnecessary demands, require to be taken for regular walks or don’t make you bathe them with their unbearable stink like canines do.
