4. Characters.
The characters, big or small are all so well fleshed out. When the African American characters are introduced to the show in the third season, you can feel it that much work has gone into portraying a realistic feel, pregnant with years of history.
5. A modern day version of the wild west
Where the protagonist goes around dispensing justice in a lawless land and where outlaws have to be dealt in the Old Testament way. The show is modern with an old world sensibility which makes a good combination.
6. The bad people.
Of course!! What will someone like Raylan do if there are no villains to bash up. There is a steady stream of bad people who are introduced to the show to keep it more action packed and make it more dramatic.
Justified is an interesting watch and it just keeps getting better with each season. One cannot wait enough to catch the next season airing in the beginning of next year.
