6 Life Lessons We can Learn from Mother Nature

4. The deeper your roots, the stronger you will be

A tree’s strength is measured by the depth of its roots. As we grow, we humans tend to forget our roots, our past, our values and lose our ground in the process. We can learn from nature how important it is to have deep roots and to never undervalue their significance.

5. Give unconditionally

A tree gives shade to whoever sits under it. It does not question someone’s intentions or does not judge a person by his/her race or status. The fruits on trees are there for anyone to be picked. Plants don’t only give oxygen to those who have been good to them. Also, nature never says, “You owe me.” Also, it gives without expecting anything in return. This is something we humans need to practice in order to feel happy from within.

6. Change is essential for growth

Seasons come and go. Nature is constantly changing. Each night is followed by a sunlit morning. This teaches us that in order to continue living successfully, you must be open to change and welcome life’s unpredictability.
