6 Interview Questions Designed to Trick You

4. What is the one thing you would like to change about your old job?

The best answer to this question would be “nothing”. This would bring out the fact that you have dealt with any issues that might have bothered you about your old job and that you don’t carry any grudges.

5. Tell me about yourself

This is mostly to check if you were lying in your resume and to a certain extent your communication skills. It is important that you let people know that you can talk as well as you can write. So be confident and also go through your resume before you go on an interview.

6. Can you explain your work to a layperson?

They want to test how much you know about the job. Tell them in succinct terms the job profile and the role expected from you.

It is important that you listen carefully and process any interview question before you answer. Take your time, but do not stall. Always ask them to repeat the question if you did not understand it the first time.
