Fresh out of your teens and into the 20’s! Young and carefree; a great feeling! But there are some healthy habits that can help you live your life to the fullest, and it would do well to develop these at the earliest.

1. Eat Food that is Healthy

Partaking of wholesome food – cereals, with plenty of green vegetables, white meat, fish, fruits/fruit juice and milk helps in building up a strong and healthy body. t’s important to have a balanced diet, and one that is rich in calcium, minerals, vitamins, protein, carbohydrates, omega-3 fats and potassium. Vitamins are present in many vegetables and fruits, while dairy products and green leafy vegetables are rich in calcium. A diet rich in calcium must be supplemented by foods containing Vitamin D to help in its absorption, which helps to lower the risk of osteoporosis; besides, eating fruits and vegetables provides you with sufficient potassium, which lowers the risk of heart ailments.

2. Consume water

Drinking plenty of water is another healthy habit. Water keeps your body clean and hygienic. It helps to keep all the toxins out of your body keeping you fit.

3. Exercise Regularly

Establishing an exercise regimen will help your body to become more supple and strong. Bones, joints and muscles can all develop properly if you exercise regularly. Activities such as cycling, walking briskly, working out at the gym and swimming, all help to tone up muscles. Aerobic exercises can be fun, too. Moreover, a fitness regimen will help you to burn off extra calories you may acquire by eating fried foods or by general overeating!
