5 Tips to Heal Cracked Heels

Cracked heels can be very painful. Walking, not having the right shoe or exposing your feet to a rough floor or ground can make it worse. With many women, it happens as they grow older. In fact as you walk or do more physical exercises it only gets worse. So the important thing is to heal your heels as early as you can. Here are 5 useful tips to heal cracked heels.

1. Home pedicure

A home pedicure is not like a full-fledged pedicure treatment you get at a salon. Whenever you come from work, your feet are always wrapped with dirt or sweaty. It’s not believable but your feet do need to be taken care of. Dip your feet in a bucket of warm water with salt, shampoo and apply a foot cream after wiping them dry.

2. Buy a crack cream and apply regularly

There are many antiseptic creams available in the market for cracked heels. At night, just before you go to sleep, apply some. If you need to go to the washroom, you can wear bathroom slippers so that it does not come off.

3. Apply olive oil

If you are not the kind who applies creams and want to use natural products, olive oil is one of the best cures available. You can apply at night before sleeping and put on socks so that the skin absorbs the oil and you wake up next morning with soft feet.
