5 Things You Must Say To Your Children To Encourage Them To Share

4. “Thank you for sharing your toys, Jamie. You’ve been a very good boy.”

Say this to your child when he/she willingly shares his/her toys. Such praises will lay emphasis on the fact that their ‘sharing’ is highly appreciated by you and others.

5. “Peter, I want you to tell me why sharing is so important.”

When you initiate such a dialog between yourself and your child, he/she will think more about the idea and concept of sharing. The more you talk about it, the better they will understand. So use this line and start a healthy conversation about sharing with your child today.

It may take your child some time before he/she realizes the importance of sharing, but we suggest that you be patient while your child is on this great learning curve.
