1. Normal pulse rate

The normal pulse rate of a person is more than 70 bpm. But, this depends on physical activities also. During exercise or workout, the pulse can be more than 80 bpm. A normal heart rate or a heartbeat is a good indicator of a healthy heart. Slow heart rate often indicates slow pumping.

2. Normal blood pressure

High blood pressure or low blood pressure can affect the heart. High blood pressure damages the arteries, which often leads to blood clot or a stroke. The normal blood pressure of a person should be 120/80 mmHg. If the blood pressure is normal and in control, there is no risk of heart attack. Regular checking of blood pressure is recommended for a healthy heart.

3. Low cholesterol or normal cholesterol

The HDL or good cholesterol in the body should be normal for a heart to remain healthy. If the LDL or bad cholesterol increases, there could be a possible risk of stroke or a heart attack. Good cholesterol level in the body is an indicator of a healthy heart. Food and regular exercise helps to manage the cholesterol level in the body. That in turn helps prevent heart diseases.
