5 Party Blunders to Avoid at All Costs

Party Blunders to Avoid at All Costs

Parties let you enjoy your time thoroughly and exuberantly. However, there are rules too; unsaid and unwritten rules that you must follow in order to avoid embarrassment. Read ahead to know a few party turn offs that you may want to avoid at any cost.

1. Office Parties

Always remember that your boss is watching. You don’t have to be constantly alert and on your toes in an office party. But make sure you have some limits whether you are flirting, dancing, drinking or passing comments. Wear only semi-formal dresses to office parties, unless a dress code has been specified.

2. Family Gatherings

You have to be really careful here. Drinking must be kept at an all time low. Unlimited alcohol consumption may make you act weird and uncontrollable. Dress amicably. You should dress in neither too formal wear, nor in a provocative dress. Remember your aunts and uncles are watching too. This is an occasion to mingle well with your family members and get to know your cousins.

3. Friendly Parties

These parties are really great for having fun. You get to meet new people and make several friends. Your alcohol consumption bar can be raised, but not to an extent that you don’t understand who you are talking to. Don’t go home with strangers. It is best to stick to your group. You can show out your wild side, provided the guests don’t get overwhelmed.
