5 Of The Worst Horror Movies Ever Made
Not all the horror movies you dig in for are worth your time. Save yourself from the bearing the agony of watching the movie that you’d rather not watch. We have carefully picked out 5 of the worst horror movies made in recent times. You might want to have a look at them.
1. When A Stranger Calls ( 2006)
A psycho with unlimited talktime keeps calling up and disturbing babysitters for no random reason. And then when he is sure they are totally freaked out, he comes to do the chasing. As far as the babysitter is concerned, instead of giving the kids she is babysitting even a look, she just seems to enjoy wandering into different rooms aimlessly. Words are not enough to describe how the whole idea of logic has been ripped apart in this movie. To top it up, it is teamed with bad acting skills. The movie is such that you may actually drop off to sleep right in the middle of it, wake up and still not understand what's happening around.
2. House of the Dead (2003)
The story is about a group of college kids stranded on an island and are haunted by freaky creatures. Adapted from a video gaming arcade, this movie does not make the cut, even close. You can't even talk about logic, cause this movie has none. Pointless, no plot, no originality, bad actors and a pathetic attempt to scare off the audience; you may might as well do yourself a favor and give this movie a pass.
3. The Skeleton Key (2005)
This film is about a young woman, who is nursing an elderly man, comes to know of a deadly secret. Teamed with actors like Kate Hudson, the audience expected the movie to be worth watching. The very concept had so much promise, however the movie was a total disappointment. The storyline was rather dull and would actually put you off to sleep. In fact, the only interesting suspense would be, what was the director thinking? I guess we can leave that for him to answer.
4. Black Christmas (2006)
A group of sorority girls have to bear the terror on Christmas eve, as the boy who was ill treated 15 years ago by his family is back from revenge. To start describing this movie, there is nothing exciting as such about the movie. During the first 10 minutes, I was too shocked to react to how horrible a movie could be. By the next 10 minutes, I just wanted to leave the movie theater and go home. The movie makes use of unnecessary slashing in a pathetic attempt to make it seem scary. But the result is that the movie is neither scary, not funny, it is hardly even a movie!
5. House of Wax (2005)
Six friends are in for a rude shock when they find themselves stranded in a place haunted by psychos, when they are on their way to attend a championship college football game. The only good part about this movie is that you get to watch Paris Hilton die. But once that is done, the movie is a mere waste of time. The hyped-up score keeps reminding you that you are supposed to be scared, because you will keep forgetting. The movie makes use of the skills of Foley artists to gather interest. Unfortunately, they failed miserably.
In short, my advice to you would be watch the above movies only if you want to torture yourself.
