5 Comedy Movies That Will Put You to Sleep
Comedies are perfect movies for anyone and everyone. Some comedies are memorable and leave you in splits. Others just leave you at the credits wondering whether you’ve just been robbed. Here is a selection of movies that you might not want to splurge your hard earned cash on. So sit back, grab your drink and popcorn and please change the channel if any of these following movies are on!!
1. All about Steve (2009)
All about Steve is the story of a crossword designer who is set up on a blind date with a television cameraman. The only saving grace in this movie is Sandra Bullock who does lose the plot plenty of times but does eventually make up for it. Average jokes, poor storyline and much uninspired acting are a few words to sum up the movie.
2. The Hangover II (2011)
A poor remake with laughs few and far between. By producing an almost identical repeat of the original, The Hangover II expects to draw laughs from the exact same old jokes. A huge letdown in terms of the anticipation that was hanging over the release of the movie.
3. Good Luck Chuck (2007)
A movie with a few proper laughs. However the movie does not do justice to its genre as a romantic comedy. Almost all the laughs are gross-outs, Dane Cooks tryst with the most repulsive woman on the planet being a worthy example of the same. Overall a movie that derives its humor from sexual exploits rather than actual jokes falls way short of being a decent comedy.
4. Vampires Suck (2010)
Crass and lame like many other spoofs, Vampires Suck takes the cake for being the most ridiculous spoof ever made. To start off with, it pokes fun at an original movie that isn’t a great deal better. To top it off, it does the unthinkable - making the characters in the original seem like actors in an Oscar nominated film!
