5 Budget Wines To Choose From

Do you like having special meals with a bottle of Red? Are you a fan of trying out different wines but don’t want to spend too much on it? Here’s my list of top 5 budget wines that you can pick up from your local grocery. Since I am forever on a shoestring budget, I usually drink regularly one of the following budget wines.

1. Segura Viudas Aria Estate Cava Brut, Spain NV ($11.99)

How would you fancy a pear flavored sparkling wine in a gorgeous bottle for a great price of $11.99? I think it’s a steal! If you’re thinking of which wine you should pair with seafood or sushi, then this is it. You’ll also feel traces of almonds, honey, pineapple and bread percolating down your throat when you sip on this lovely budget wine.

2. Saint M Riesling ($13.79)

Aren’t you amazed that a wine that comes from Germany’s Mosel region having a 200 year old tradition of producing Riesling is priced at a wonderful $13.70? Grab it today before they stop selling this make! What I love about this wine is that it pairs well with all kinds of food. Tasting vaguely like Peach Schweppes, this Riesling is a little fruity, yet stony and crisp. I bet you’ll love the texture of this pocket friendly wine.

3. Yellow Tail Chardonnay ($11.79)

I have been a fan of this produce from the Casella family of Australia since I had taken a trip last year to actually see their vineyards Down Under! At a steal price of $11.79, this lovely Chardonnay bears a subtle texture that will go smoothly down your throat. Its oak barrel maturity gives it lovely vintage smell.
