4 Most Challenging times For A Parent

3. Teenage

Around the age of thirteen, kids start to get out of control. “I want to wear this low waist torn jeans”, “I would go out with him come what may”, “You do not love me”, “I hate you” become common dialogs around the house; so do the screaming matches. The sheer amount of fights that you will have with your children while trying to be calm and rational and letting them know you care for them and love them and hoping they get the message is a huge challenge!

4. Adolescence

Now that they understand the world better, they think they understand it completely. “I know everything, you know nothing” is the mood of your conversations with them. You just guide them on a teeny thing and bam! They explode like a volcano! The biggest challenge here is letting go enough that they do not feel contained yet pulling back in a way that they don’t react vehemently.

All said and done, being a parent is truly joyful though. It is hard, but satisfying!
