10 Ways to Cope with Miscarriage

6. Involve yourself in some hobby

Either learn a new skill or involve yourself in some old hobby.

7. Talk to a therapist

If joining the support group or talking to your relatives and family is not helping, then seek professional help. Visit a psychologist. Sometimes it is easier to pour your grief to a stranger.

8. Talk to your gynecologist to know why it happened

Sometimes there’s a reason for miscarriage, sometimes there isn’t. Whatever it is, talk to your gynecologist to know exactly what happened. This will help you in providing it a closure. Also you’ll stop blaming yourself because your doctor will tell you that there’s nothing you could have done to avoid it.

9. Put away baby toys if it troubles you too much

Put all the toys or other things that you may have bought for your baby. For some women, looking at those things keeps reminding them of their loss. So if that’s the case with you, pack those things neatly and keep them away.

10. Do something to honor the memory of your lost child

You can plant a sapling in her name, or donate something to a charitable organization. It can be anything that will help you honor her memory.
