10 Ways to Become Happier in 10 Minutes
Happiness is one of those strange things in our lives that we can take an eternity to find or find it in ourselves in seconds. Being happy is a state of mind and none other than ourselves have the true power to keep ourselves happy and stay happy. Happiness is also one of those hard things to define and what makes someone else happy does not have to necessarily make you happy. It works the other way too, what makes you happy does not make others happy all the time and it doesn’t really have to. If you are having a rough day and would like to be happy for a break, here are ten things you could do to get happier in 10 minutes. It does sound like a magician’s trick, but in reality is a few simple things that you can do.
1. Go for a small jog
Exercise is always invigorating. Apart from keeping you healthy, it also releases some good endorphins in your body and increases blood circulation to your brain, making you livelier and happier in the process. It does not have to be a jog, it could be a walk or a rigorous 10 minute exercise that you could do at home or at the workplace.
2. Smile for no reason
You can smile just by yourself or smile at other people and you don’t have to have a reason to be smiling. Smiling is pretty infectious and it can make you and the people around you happier.
3. Ask for a compliment
Instead of waiting for a compliment from others, you can just ask them to compliment you. A compliment can do wonders to you and make you happy in no time. Even when you know that you had asked for it, it really does not matter.
4. Make a choice to live for the moment
For a while every day, decide to not think about the future and live for the moment instead. Lay down your worries and live for the moment. This will definitely make you more calm and happy.
5. Have sex
And when you get to have sex with someone who you really like and enjoy it with, it will make you happy and will stay with you for the rest of the day and maybe even the week.
