10 Tips to Keep Your Body Hydrated

Our body needs proper hydration for its smooth functioning. If your body lacks water, it will become dull and your skin will look flaky. A dehydrated body doesn’t only look lusterless but it also begins to age early. Low fluid intake, excessive sweating, sun exposure, use of heaters, alcohol intake, smoking and stress can contribute to dehydration. Here are some ways to keep yourself hydrated.

1. Start using almond cooking oil in your kitchen. This oil promotes your skin’s health. It moisturizes your skin and provides necessary nutrients to your body.

2. Incorporate aloe vera juice in your diet. You can also apply aloe vera gel on your skin regularly. Aloe vera hydrates your skin as well as your body.

3. Start using honey because it has nourishing and hydrating properties. You can mix one spoon of honey in your milk every day. You can replace sugar with honey. This will keep your body toned and healthy. You can apply a paste of honey, powder milk and egg yolk on your skin.

4. Include citrus fruits in your diet. Oranges, grapes and lemon will provide necessary water to your body.

5. You must drink a lot of water throughout the day if you work out regularly. Physical exercises take away a lot of water from your body in the form of sweat. It is important to drink some water at least an hour before your workout session. You can have a little more water before fifteen minutes of your session.
