10 Signs you have a Vitamin B12 Deficiency
Vitamin B12 deficiency is a kind of ailment that damages the nervous system, if not treated for a long time. The deficiency is caused due to low levels of Vitamin B12 in the blood and the body, and can also be caused by chronic Anemia, which happens due to the low levels of iron in the body. It is very important to keep your Vitamin B12 levels intact. The following are some of the signs and symptoms of Vitamin B12 deficiency that you must take note of.
There are several times when you are unable to control your bladder or there is unintentional leakage of urine. 4. Shortness of breath
It is a matter of concern if you are panting rigorously or feeling shortness of breath while climbing stairs or walking continuously. This can happen when you have deficiency of Vitamin B12 in your body. Shortness of breath should not be taken lightly, as it can be extremely stressful for your heart. It is best advised to visit a doctor when you are experiencing such a thing on a regular basis.
5. Easy bruising or bleeding
If you notice heavy or fast bleeding by even simple scratches or bruises, then do not take this issue lightly. If the occurrence is quite often, then go for a Vitamin B12 deficiency check-up immediately. Constant loss of blood can create a lot of problems, so you must have proper intake of vitamins in your diet. In some cases, you might also notice bleeding of gums. This may be harmful for your teeth too.
