No, these are not names of comic book characters. Little Boy was the name of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima and Fat Man was the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki. Little Boy and Fat Man were the deadliest weapons used in WWII, causing more than 200,000 deaths in the first couple of months.
