10 Easy Ways to Pamper Yourself After a Hard Day
Everyone deserves a bit of pampering on a regular basis, especially so when you have had a bad and hard day. Despair not if you do not have anyone to pamper you, you can do it yourself in a few simple and easy ways. Here is how.
1. Take a long dip
Take a long soak in the bathtub, add salts and perfumed oils to the warm water and let yourself relax. Nothing de-stresses you better than a long warm soak in the tub. If you do not have a tub, take a long hot shower. Along with the dirt, a shower will also remove all the tension from your body and your mind.
2. Get a manicure or a pedicure
If you have had a hard day at work or school, head straight to your salon and get a manicure and a pedicure. Along with it you also get a temporary friend to off load all your complaints and relax and get pampered.
3. Make a nice cocktail
Or sip a glass of wine or your favorite alcohol with your feet up listening to your favorite music or with a great book. Do not get drunk, you will only make it worse the next day. Drink to get relaxed, not to try and forget the day.
4. Head to a bar
Indulge in some people watching, get a few drinks, let yourself loose and eavesdrop on some of the bar banter. It is not exactly pampering yourself, but you will feel a lot lighter.
5. Watch a chick flick
A no-brainer chick flick with a hot bowl of butter popcorn and a tub of ice cream will make a good pampering session too. Sleep late for a day.
